"When we had our children, our ideas changed somewhat. Thenceforward we lived only for them; they made all our happiness and we would never have found it save in them. In fact, nothing any longer cost us anything; the world was no longer a burden to us. As for me, my children were my great compensation, so that I wished to have many in order to bring them up for Heaven" -- Saint Zelie Martin, mother of St. Therese of Lisieux, canonized October 18, 2015 along with her husband St. Louis Martin.

Here's Smiling at You!

You weren't having a bad day, were you?  I've got something to cheer you up!

It's been so hard to find time for real blog posts.  I haven't had the chance to comment on the color of Sam's hair!  It's red!! Very hard to capture on my phone camera.  Arwen's been too busy to oblige me with "real" pictures.

Speaking of Arwen, there's another broken bone in the family: her finger.  (I've got better, or worse I guess, pictures of the finger...somewhere.  Maybe Arwen will find those when she has time for those pictures I keep waiting for!:)).

I got a last-minute phone call from a friend at our local park.  I loaded up the littles and sped over.
So glad it's still summer!

Back to some smiles--post time is up!
7 weeks old.  Fifteen pounds!!  Oh yes.

Now go have an awesome day!
